We arrived in Macau after a 12 hour plane journey followed by a one hour ferry ride from Hong Kong. I was travelling for a total time of 24 hours so was very happy to arrive at the hotel and be able to freshen up!

Bank Holiday Return

Posted on 1:43pm Wednesday 27th August 2008

The bank holiday period saw us pick up a satisfactory 4 points against Altrincham and Burton Albion. This was in response to our defeat at Mansfield in our previous game. Plenty has been said about the Mansfield game. All I will say is they weren’t any better than us on the day and that first half showing looks to have finally got our season up and running. We did gift them their 3 first half goals but we came out in the second half playing at a much higher tempo and with more urgency. This is how we have to play, or at least, try to play every week. We looked in the first half as though we were still in pre-season friendly mode and that the result didn’t matter, but since that half-time team talk we look to have responded well and we seem to have made an improvement.

In very old Bibles, those with Commentary notes, there is a margin notation in Genesis Chapter I, (missed by many), 'Before CHRIST 4004'.

All roads lead to London?

Posted on 8:30am Wednesday 27th August 2008

The British Government has conducted a population Census every 10 years since 1801 (with the exception of 1941 when they were otherwise egaged). New Labour is the first Government in over 200 years to fail to complete an efficient census during its 'watch'.

There is one world religion that is so invasive, brooks no criticism and is bent on world domination.

MIND BLOWING GLASS (Bank Holiday Outing)

Posted on 6:54am Sunday 24th August 2008

If the British Glass Biennale is not on your schedule this week end, you will be the looser. It is just one small part of the Stourbridge Glass Festival but it is staggering.
