THE next folk-rock supergroup in waiting, the Roving Crows, are set to entertain crowds in Stourport next week.
The Anglo-Irish band boasts uncommonly exhilarating music, filled brimful with inspired lyrics and rollicking melodies. The band's powerful, high-energy live shows make this an utterly must-see act.
Formed in early 2009, the Crows' inexhaustible energy gives them stand alone status in the up-surging live music scene. They have won awards including Top Celtic Rock Band and Top Fiddle Player at the Irish Music Awards 2001 and Best Folk Act at the Exposure Music Awards 2012.
Their line-up features Irish frontman, Paul on guitar and boasts Caitlin's fiery fiddle playing, Greg's syncopated trumpet, Loz on bass guitar and Tim on the drums. They all get involved with backing vocals which gives a rich group sound.
The Roving Crows are charismatic, enthusiastic and entertaining and they come with bags of youthful charm. Their performance at Bishops Wood Centre, near Stourport, is set to burst with energy and be a night to remember.
The band will take to the stage at Bishops Wood on Thursday, January 26, from 7.30pm.
