Fans played on Aggborough's hallowed turf

2:00pm Thursday 15th May 2008

HARRIERS' fans team played on the hallowed turf of Aggborough in their final game of the season but were no match for Harriers Trust as they went down 6-1 on Sunday.

A KHIST fans team which contained director Wayne Allen, assistant manager Neil Howarth and physio Ian Foster struggled to contain Harriers Trust, who play in the Kidderminster and District League.

After falling 3-0 down by half-time, manager Dave Pountney handed debuts to Foster and Howarth in the hope of staging a comeback.

Foster pulled a goal back for the fans team after the ball dropped to his feet in the area.

Trust added further goals in the second half to cement a comfortable victory. Trust goalscorers were Marc Vaughan (2), Richard Hall and Paul Newton (2).
