I READ with interest the problems the people of Knight Court, Wolverley, are having due to the parking of a minibus and that they now say it is a safety issue because they cannot see when they are reversing out.
The problem is of their own making because they are driving forward into the parking spaces and then having to reverse out into the road and are unable to see until they are well out into the road.
If they used their common sense and drove in accordance with the Highway Code that says you should not reverse into a road, they would not have a problem.
But maybe they are not capable enough to reverse into a parking space.

"Do not reverse from a side road into a main road. When using a driveway, reverse in and drive out if you can." Nothing about parking bays and nothing about reversing from a driveway or parking bay into a road. Oh and yes like so many other rules I think this is badly phrased.
