LABOUR Party deputy chairman Tom Watson returned to his home town of Kidderminster in his role as the party’s campaign co-ordinator for next month’s local elections.
Mr Watson, MP for West Bromwich East, is touring the country with Labour’s poster van over the current week in the run-up to polling day on May 2, when Worcestershire County Council seats will be among those contested.
The poster van, protesting against the Coalition Government’s tax cut for high earners, came to Kidderminster yesterday. Mr Watson said: “It was great to launch Labour's poster van in my home town of Kidderminster.”
