WYRE Forest residents will have two chances to see a Cookley based Morris Dancing group perform in the district throughout the festive period.
Following a busy year performing at festivals and events around the country, Foxs Border Morris is returning home to perform at The Eagle and Spur as well as The Lock, in Wolverley.
The group will be in Wolverley on Boxing Day from noon, while they head to Cookley on New Years Day with a performance starting at 1pm.
During both performances, Foxs Morris will be joined by Bedcote Morris from Stourbridge.
Alison Grieve, the group’s deputy secretary, said: “Come along and support the events and see how enjoyable Morris dancing is.
“A newly written Mummers play will be performed and guaranteed to have you chuckling.”
The group was formed by at Cookley School in 1999 and still meet there on Thursday nights between 8pm and 10pm during term time.
