FIREFIGHTERS spent the night dealing with two car fires in Wyre Forest.
One appliance from Stourport attended a car fire on the A4025, Stourport Road at 8.35pm yesterday evening (February 16).
A spokesman for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service, said: "This was a false alarm due to excessive smoke from the engine caused by an engine fault."
At 3.37am this morning (February 17), a car fire in Truro Drive, Kidderminster, was also attended by firefighters who put out the blaze with two hose reel jets. Police were also in attendance.
A spokesman for West Mercia Police, said: "A vehicle was on fire in the parking area at the rear of the properties.
"The fire was around 20-30 metres from any of the properties. Nobody was injured.
"The fire is not being treated as suspicious - as it is believed to be an electrical fault."
