A TEENAGE girl suffered injuries after she was bitten by two dogs in an unprovoked attack in Kidderminster.
The incident took place near the traffic lights at the junction of Chester Road North and Birmingham Road, at around 4.50pm on Monday (March 14).
The victim, a 17-year-old girl, was walking with a friend when the unaccompanied dogs attacked her, causing puncture wounds to her leg, cuts and abrasions and a wound to her thumb.
West Mercia Police would now like to identify and speak to the owner of the two dogs.
The dogs involved in the attack were a Staffordshire Bull Terrier type, tan or ginger in colour, and the other was a similar breed but larger and white in colour. Neither dog was wearing a collar.
A number of motorists who were in stationary traffic sounded their horns when they saw what had happened and officers hope that some of them might come forward with information.
They, or anyone else with information on the incident, are asked to call officers on 101 quoting incident reference number 497S of March 14.
Alternatively, information can be passed on to independent charity, Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111 or via their website crimestoppers-uk.org.
