A TEENAGE boy was assaulted as he was walking through an alleyway in Bewdley last week.
West Mercia Police is appealing for information after the incident, which took place in an alleyway off Bark Hill on Wednesday, July 13.
The 16-year-old was pushing his bike through the alleyway between 1.50pm and 2.10pm, when he was struck from behind, causing him to fall to the floor.
The suspected attacker is believed to be a white man in his early twenties and of a slim build. He had a short dark goatee beard and, at the time of the incident, he was wearing a black hooded jacket and cream Nike jogging bottoms.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or recognises the description of the suspected attacker is asked to call officers on 101, quoting incident reference number 488S of July 13.
