A NEW date has been confirmed for the move of Bewdley Library to its new home at the town's medical centre.
The current library, in Load Street, will close on Saturday, October 15, at 1pm, and will reopen on Monday, October 24, at 9.30am, in its new home in Bewdley Medical Centre, in Dog Lane.
A spokesman said: "We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused during the closure and remind customers that while the library is closed, the nearest libraries are at Stourport and Kidderminster, plus there is information on the libraries and learning website about how to join the library, renew loans, search the catalogue, make reservations, download e-books, magazines and audio books, and access online reference sources.
"It is also possible to speak to libraries and learning staff by calling Worcestershire Hub on 01905 822722, between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday, or you can use the 24-hour automated renewal system on the same number."
