A MAN has been pronounced dead after an air ambulance and police were called to a property in Kidderminster.
An air ambulance landed off Silverwoods Way at around 9am as paramedics and police attended a 'medical emergency' at a private property.
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 8.45am to a medical emergency at a private address off Silverwoods Way."
"Two ambulances, a paramedic officer and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham attended the scene.
"On arrival we discovered one patient – a man. Despite the best efforts of ambulance staff, it sadly became apparent that nothing could be done to save him and he was confirmed dead at the scene."
A police spokesman added: "Police were called shortly after 9am this morning (Friday, April 26) to reports of a concern for welfare for a man in his 50s at a property on Silverwoods Way in Kidderminster.
"Sadly, the man was pronounced deceased at the scene.
"His next of kin have been informed."
Police say the death is not being treated as suspicious at this time.
