A VAN was destroyed after catching fire on a country lane in Bewdley.
Emergency services were called to the scene near to Little Lakes Caravan Park at Lye Head in Bewdley just after 11am on Tuesday (August 13).
Crews from Bewdley and Kidderminster Fire Stations attended and found a van on fire with the engine compartment and cab "well alight".
Firefighters used two breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet to extinguish the blaze.
An Environment Agency drain cover was used to seal a nearby drain to prevent oil and petrol entering the drainage system.
West Mercia Police also attended.
The driver managed to unload his parcels safely before emergency services arrived and the road was closed for around an hour and a half.
Bewdley Fire Station thanked drivers for their patience while crews dealt with the fire.
