Explosion and fire at Stourport substation
FIRE crews were called out to reports of an explosion in Stourport last night after an electrical substation went up in flames.
The incident happened near Sion Gardens just after 10pm on Friday August 16.
Firefighters from Stourport extinguished the fire after the power to the substation was isolated, Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said on Twitter.
