DRAMATIC pictures show a tractor which burst into flames in a field in Chaddesley Corbett today.
Firefighters were called to the tractor on fire at 1.10pm this afternoon (Tuesday October 11).
Wyre Forest Fire Station shared pictures of the fire and the remains of the charred tractor, which was in the middle of a ploughed field.
Firefighters used 5,000 lites of water to put out the blaze.
They said on social media: "The tractor was a considerable distance across a cultivated field so hose was run out in an attempt to reach the fire.
"Once run out the fire was extinguished using 5000 litres of water."
Firefighters from Bromsgrove also attended the incident.
Hereford and Worcester Fire Control tweeted: "13:17 @HWFireBGrove @HWFireWFhub extinguished fire involving a tractor in a field #ChaddesleyCorbett by establishing a water shuttle, advice given to farmer."
