FIRE crews were rushed out to a bus blaze in Stourport this afternoon (Thursday, December 15).
Firefighters have been battling the bus fire on Dunley Road, which was closed in both directions.
Photographs have been shared showing smoke billowing out of a Diamond Bus.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service has confirmed that all passengers are out of the vehicle.
The fire broke out in the engine compartment of the bus, according to the fire service. A hose reel jet was used to tackle the blaze.
Police officers have been on the scene providing assistance with traffic control and have confirmed that the road has reopened.
Last week, another incident of a Diamond Bus catching fire happened at nearby Weaver’s Wharf in Kidderminster.
A spokesperson for Diamond Bus said: "Our operations team are looking into what has happened and a full investigation into this and the incident last week will take place".
