BOARDED windows greeted Kidderminster shoppers today after windows and glass doors to seven shops were smashed in the town centre.
It happened between 8.30pm and 8.45pm on Friday when windows were smashed at the 3G mobile phone store, Jessops, Lloyds Bank, Shoe Zone, Orange mobile phone store and Halifax, in Vicar Street, and Shipways Estate Agents in Marlborough Street.
A man was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and assaulting a police officer. He has been released on police bail until May 28 pending further inquiries.
