MOTORISTS face more misery from Monday when the speed limit on one of the main routes into Kidderminster is reduced to 10mph while work is carried out.
About 3km of the A456 between Kidderminster and Blakedown in both directions will be resurfaced for up to three weeks.
The work will take place between the junction of Baldwin Road, Kidderminster and Churchill Lane, Blakedown.
Delays are expected as the dual carriageway usually carries a 70mph speed limit.
A Worcestershire County Council spokesman said: “We understand these improvement works may cause some inconvenience to motorists but would like to assure them they have planned to keep any disruption to a minimum.”
