BEWDLEY Rotary Club presented local charities and organisations with donations from the proceeds of the Button Oak Community Fete held in August.
More than 60 people made up from Rotary friends and guests, along with representatives from the charities and organisations gathered at Bewdley Pines Golf Club for the presentations.
Charities and organisations which received donations included St Anne’s Church, Wyre Forest Community Transport, Bewdley Street Pastors, Bewdley Guides and Brownies, Kidderminster Lions Club, Pound Green Community Hall and Bewdley Youth Café.
Bob Hill, from Bewdley Rotary Club and co-organiser of the Button Oak Fete, said: “The total we distributed was £4,100 which was split in varying amounts between 15 local charities and organisations.”
