PLANS have been put forward to Wyre Forest District Council to build four new detached houses in Blakedown.
The proposed site is unused greenfield land at the rear of 5 Mill Lane and is surrounded by existing homes in all directions.
Mr Carl Beddington of Station Drive in Lye has applied to build a one two bedroom bungalow and three four bedroom houses.
If plans went ahead, a new access road would be built off Mill Close, which is currently a cul-de-sac.
The application also notes there would be 11 car parking spaces between the four dwellings.
In the design and access statement, the architects Corstorphine and Wright say “The site is approximately 0.2 hectares and is currently unoccupied, having previously been a part of the Rectory garden located to the north of the application site.”
The determination deadline of the application is August 9.
