BEWDLEY Museum opens its doors for a new season packed with fun activities for the whole family this weekend.
The entertainment kicks off with a performance of A Cameo For Easter, by Kaleidoscope Theatre Company, in the Jubilee Gardens, on Saturday, from 12.30pm.
On Sunday and Monday, between 12pm and 3pm, youngsters can explore the museum's galleries and gardens while hunting for Easter eggs.
Monica Rees, education officer for the museum, said: "We hope lots of children will come along and enjoy solving the clues which lead them to an eggy surprise.
"When they've finished the trail they can also have a go at our Easter-themed quizzes."
Visitors to the museum will be taken back to the time before CDs, MP3s, laptops and electronic notepads, at the Ideas and Innovations exhibition.
A display of colourful paintings by past and present members of Birmingham Water Colour Society will also brighten up the museum for the new season.
Nathan Desmond, (Conservative) Wyre Forest District Council's cabinet member for community and leisure services, said: "The 2008 calendar looks really exciting. The museum gets more popular each year.
"We hope the new programme will encourage more people to come and visit."
The museum is open daily from 10am until 4pm.
The full 2008 programme can be obtained from www.wyreforestdc.gov.uk or by contacting Bewdley Information Centre on 01299 404740.
