A BAND is already planning to mark the end of summer with a ball at Kidderminster Town Hall in September.
Spurred on by the success of its first Valentine's ball in February, the N C Big Band is hoping people will turn out in their droves and put on their dancing shoes for the upcoming event.
Organisers have warned, however, ticket sales will be strictly limited, with a two-tier purchasing system being operated, with 160 higher priced tickets guaranteeing seats at tables in the ballroom. Dress code will be casual, although jeans will not be welcomed.
It is hoped Florence Ballroom, Black Horse and Kidderminster Batsh dancers will attend to enjoy the atmosphere of dancing to a live big band.
Inquiries about tickets can be made to 01384 252857. If there are any left following initital sales, they will be available on the door on the night, Saturday, September 2.
