A TIME Traveller event will take place at Witley Court and Gardens on Tuesday, August 23.
A duo of Victorian explorers will reveal the minibeasts that make their own little worlds under leaves and twigs around the grounds, in the Ugly Bug Safari.
The education room will feature a range of hands-on activities, with children encouraged to design their own mad-cap inventions, take inspiration from the great Victorian naturalists and draw some of the creatures they have seen.
On September 10 and 11 and October 8 and 9, visitors can go behind the scenes in the once-great historic house with special tours in areas not normally seen by the public, including the stable yard, wine cellars and butler’s pantry. Pre-booking is essential by calling 0870 333 1181.
