A DUO who cross the great musical divides will play live in Great Witley.
Simon Mayer and Hilary James will stop off during their tour of the UK for a live performance at Great Witley Village Hall, Worcester Road tomorrow evening.
The pair will bring a truly diverse array of music from British ballads to blues and Berlioz.
Simon is one of the world’s leading mandolin virtuosos and composers for the instrument, as well as a top guitarist, fiddle player and wit.
Hilary’s elegant singing is widely regarded as one of the purest voices on the English musical stage.
The band’s repertoire contains folk, traditional, Celtic, swing, blues and classical music illustrated by a diverse range of instruments from mandolin, guitar, banjos, ukuleles and double bass.
