MUSIC fans in Great Witley are in for a treat with the visit of a popular Welsh choir.
The Priory Singers, from Newport, will perform at Great Witley Church on Saturday.
They will play choral works by composers including Purcell, Lotti, Brickner and Elgar.
It is a 24-strong choir and aims to make high-quality music from an eclectic and innovative repertoire.
In the last 12 months they have performed anthems by 16th century composers, a fully-staged performance of Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas, a new setting of the Requiem, with the Welsh Baroque Orchestra.
As well as visiting Great Witley, the choir will perform in Brecon and Great Malvern this year.
The priory Singers’ appearance follows the successful concert by cellist Ulrich Heinin at the church last week.
