BENSON (née McHugh) Maureen Beatrice The death is announced of Maureen Benson, lately of Stourport-on-Severn, on 19 February 2021, aged 87. Dearly loved wife of the late James Benson, sister of Michael and the late Norman McHugh, adored Mum of Maureen, Jim, Anne, and their partners. Fun loving and much-loved Nanna, Nan, Nannie and Big Nannie to her many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren, in Worcestershire, Hampshire, Kent, Canada and New Zealand. A warm and loving lady who will be in our hearts forever and never, ever forgotten. A small scale private cremation for the family, will be held on Wednesday 17 March, with a larger celebration and burial at Cleobury Mortimer when everyone can be together again.
