THIRSK Mike Passed away on 22nd November 2021, aged 89 years. Private family cremation to take place on Friday 17th December 2021. A Service of Thanksgiving will be held at St Peter's Church, Cookley followed by refreshments at Kidderminster Golf Club in the New Year. I knew Mike while living in Cookley and used to gardening and odd jobs while studying for my degree. Mike was one of the most decent people I have ever met and although only a brief time, my memories of him have remained with me. I felt genuine sadness at reading the notice.
