LASHFORD Paul Leonard Passed away peacefully on the 24th of November 2021, aged 78, in Areley House Care Home, with his Family by his side. Beloved Husband of Janet, Father of Robert and Philip, Grandfather, Brother, and Uncle, he will be greatly missed by Family and all who knew him. The Funeral Service will be held at Wyre Forest Crematorium, on Wednesday 22nd December at 2.30 pm. Family flowers only, with donations, if desired, to Alzheimer's Research. I had the pleasure of working with Paul for several years at Bond Worth in Stourport. He was the first boss I ever had and I remember he always treated us fairly. On the night of my 18th birthday I went out and got totally bladdered. I crawled into work the following morning, and he took one look at me, started laughing and sent me home to sleep it off! I was sad to hear from Janet that Paul had passed away, I shall certainly never forget him. R.I.P. mate.

Thank you for your message Janet, it is very thoughtful of you. Paul spent most of his working life at Carpets of Worth, same industry. I do remember meeting up with you in the USA when we came over for the weddings, also speaking with you in Lombard Street a few years later when you were over here in Stourport. x
