WARNER Richard Henry (Also known as Jack) On August 31st 2022, peacefully in hospital at Dudley, in the presence of his loving wife and step-daughter, his long illness has been borne with great dignity, patience and humour, Richard Warner, of Castlecroft Gardens, Bridgnorth, formerly of Hurcott Road, Kidderminster, aged 76 years. A former competitor at Shelsley Walsh Hill Climb, life member of Midland Automobile Club, member of M.G.Owners Club, a bowler at Bylet Bowls Club, Bridgnorth, and a knowledgeable and long serving Design Engineer at J.R.D. Bipel Ltd. The beloved husband and best friend of Cathy, loving Step-Dad of Vicki, Father in law of Jason, the dear Grandad of Toby and Elie, a special brother to his twin sister Mag and brother Phil, and the Brother in Law of Margaret. Much loved, Richard will be sadly missed by all his family, many friends, and all who knew him. Funeral service at The Wyre Forest Crematorium, DY13 8DE on Wednesday September 21st at 11.30am., and afterwards at Shelsley Walsh Hill Climb venue. Black attire is not requested, unless you want to, please wear what you are comfortable in. In a tribute to Richard's lifelong love of all things automotive, the family invites any friends with a modern or old classic car to attend in it for the final goodbye. Please let the Family, or the Funeral Directors, know if you are attending so we can give approximate numbers to the Caterers. Family flowers only by request please, but donations for 'The Midlands Air Ambulance' are being gratefully received.
