MORE than 70 students at an Abberley school have been grooming their whiskers ready for next week’s school musical.

Abberley Hall students will be performing in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical Cats at the school from next Thursday to Saturday, March 16.

Abberley’s head of drama, Clare Eynon, said that this would be an elaborate production with a range of detailed costumes as well as an impressive set and lighting.

She said: “This is one of the West End’s most famous shows and we are determined to do it justice.

“The pupils are very enthusiastic and are busy rehearsing their song and dance numbers.”
