KIDDERMINSTER firefighters acted swiftly to prevent flames from a car fire spreading to a nearby building this morning.
The incident happened at just before 4.30am in Castle Road, Kidderminster.
A fire service spokesman said: "We acted very quickly to make sure that the flames from the car fire did not reach the old DVLA building which was right next to it. Luckily we extinguished the blaze before it could damage the building."
