EAGER Kidderminster Beavers proved they had pedal power during an annual Scout woodland bike race.
The Kidderminster and District Scouts’ Beavers and Cubs 2013 “cyclocross” sees five to eight-year-olds ride through woodland at Rhydd Covert.
The winner of the senior section for under-eights was Beaver Jacob Rudd. The junior race for under-sevens was Cub Cameron Hamilton. The winning team, which accumulated the most points, was KD8 St John’s.
Scout group spokeswoman Joan Nutland said: “Everyone really enjoyed the event, the kids really love it. There was a great enthusiasm to get started so we quickly walked them round the course. Parents and staff came to watch and everyone had a really good time.”
