TWINS, who will go their separate ways after completing their GCSEs, say they will still be competing for the better grades at A-level.

Tommy and Will Cooper, 16, found out their results last Thursday at King Charles I School, Kidderminster.

They gained six A*s, 11 As and three Bs between them, with Will just beating his brother to the higher grades with four A*s.

Tommy said: “I’m a bit disappointed Will beat me.

“It is not really a competition at the time when we are studying but when we get the results we do compare. Our parents are proud of us both.”

He will go to study A-levels in maths, further maths, physics and computing at King Edward VI College, Stourbridge, and Will will stay at King Charles I to take A-levels in maths, further maths, physics and chemistry.

Tommy added: “It will be different, I’m not sure what it will be like going to different schools. I will miss King Charles but I know other people going to King Edward.

“We will still be competing for the results and I’m hoping I can win this time at A-levels.”
