A SHOPPING event at The Elms Hotel, Abberley, will help raise money for a hospice for children with life-limiting illnesses.
Acorns Children’s Hospice will benefit from the event, on Thursday, from 10am until 3pm. Specialist stalls will offer a variety of luxury items.
All money generated by entrance ticket sales and from a raffle will be donated to Acorns. A percentage of the stallholders’ proceeds will also go to the charity.
Helen Hobden, head of Ladies That Lunch Event Management, which is organising the event, said: “Everyone attending will be treated to a complimentary glass of bubbly and can unwind while browsing through high-end boutique clothes, cashmere in a variety of colours and designs, Italian shoes and handbags, accessories and gifts and jewellery.”
The Elms Hotel is creating a special menu for the event.
“In addition to the lunch, the hotel will be displaying special hand-built Morgan Motor Company cars for the day,” said Ms Hobden.
Carole Crowe, Acorns community fund-raising manager, said: “We are very grateful for all of Helen’s efforts in putting together this fantastic shopping experience to raise money for us. It looks set to be a great day out.”
There is a cost to attend.
