HUNDREDS of Santa Clauses will be coming to town this Christmas for Kemp Hospice’s annual Santa Fun Run.
The festive 10km run will start and finish at Brinton Park in Kidderminster on Sunday, December 1.
Santas can walk, jog or run the route, which will take runners down the canal towpath and through the countryside at Wolverley.
Kate Wilkinson, events fundraiser said: “Kemp’s Santa Fun Run always marks the start of our hospice Christmas festivities, and by joining us and taking part you will be helping raise essential funds to support the vital work of Kemp Hospice and their work within the community delivering the end of life care we have come to rely on.”
Each runner that signs up to the event will receive a Santa suit to take part in. Registration is £15 per entrant and all children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
The fun run will raise funds for the Wyre Forest-based hospice, which needs £940,000 annually to provide specialist care and support to patients, families and carers who are dealing with life-limiting illness and bereavement.
