AN underground Second World War factory will be investigated by ghost hunters to raise funds for Kemp Hospice.
Well Haunted Paranormal Events are hosting an overnight ghost hunt at Drakelow Tunnels in Wolverley on Friday, December 6.
The hunt, which will start at 9pm and finish at 3am on Saturday morning, will include a range of ghost hunting methods.
Well Haunted will be using Ouija Boards, conducting glass deviation, table tipping and holding an ask and wait session in a bid to contact the ghostly spirits in the tunnels.
They use a range of equipment including electronic voice phenomena recorders, night vision CCTV cameras, electromagnetic field meters and dowsing rods to allow ghost hunters to explore and conduct their own investigations.
Kemp Hospice, based in Kidderminster, provides specialist palliative care and support to patients, family and carers of people living with a life-limiting illness and people attempting to cope with the bereavement.
A spokesman for Well Haunted said: “This extremely worthwhile charity and the people who dedicate their time to providing this very specialist sort of care is something that is close to our hearts and something we actively, and will continue to actively, support.”
The cost is £35 per person and all proceeds will go to Kemp Hospice. Free tea and coffee will be available throughout the night and ghost hunters should bring their own refreshments, a torch and warm clothing.
