STUDENTS BRING ‘CHRISTMAS CHEER’ TO STOURBRIDGE AGE CONCERN
Sixth Form students from Haybridge High School were thrilled to showcase their talents by providing entertainment at the Stourbridge Age Concern Christmas lunch. The special lunch was enjoyed by over 80 members of Age Concern who gave the singers a rousing encore as they sang Christmas carols and other songs.
Students Philippa, Lara and Phoebe are all Drama students who have appeared in musical theatre productions locally and in school.
Mr Joe Green, Manager of Age Concern Elton Centre told us ‘everyone enjoyed the Haybridge students’ performance – it added something special to our afternoon. Our guests really value this link with young people’.
Director of Haybridge Sixth Form David McQuillan said ‘Our students are always generous when fundraising for charities but I am particularly impressed when they donate their time and talents to their local community’.
