FROM actors and marine biologists to journalists and computer game programmers, students from Wolverley CE Secondary School will be getting a taste of their dream job thanks to the launch of their Ambassador Programme.
The programme, which encourages students to aim high and ensure they make the right decisions for their future, will see 31 year seven and eight students getting the chance to spend a day in their dream job.
After their day in work, they will report back to their teachers and peers about what they learnt.
Acting headteacher Mark Pollard said: "Students in year seven and year eight will soon be thinking about their GCSE options, so the Ambassador Programme is a great opportunity for students to get a taste of their dream job to help them decide what subjects to study.
“So many people believe they are doing the wrong job, which is what we don’t want to happen to our students.
"Therefore, we are delighted to be able to give them such a valuable experience at a young age, and we’re certain that the Ambassador Programme will become something that students will look forward to being a part of.”
