KEMP Hospice is inviting dog-lovers and their pets to join them for their first three-mile sponsored dog walk through the Wyre Forest.
The event, called Woofs and Wellies, will take place on Saturday, June 21.
Kemp Hospice fundraiser, Sophie Bishop, said: "We are all really excited to launch this brand new event for 2014, kindly sponsored by Vets4Pets, which promises to be a fantastic day out for all dog-lovers and their four-legged pets, we would also like to thank the Forestry Commission for their continued support and allowing us to hold events at the forest."
Kemp offers specialist care and support to patients, families and carers who are dealing with life-limiting illness and bereavement in Wyre Forest.
Partner at Kidderminster Vets4Pets, Olivia Pring, said: "We are delighted to be sponsoring the Kemp Hospice Woofs and Wellies walk - this promises to be a well supported and fun event for owners and pets alike.
"Kemp Hospice provides such invaluable support to the local community that we are pleased to be able to help. We are really looking forward to getting our wellies on and meeting all of the walkers and their four legged friends."
