PRIMARY school pupils have been swinging into action on their new adventure playground thanks to a donation from Kidderminster Rotary Club.
The Rotary Club donated £1,000 towards the playground at Cookley Sebright Primary School, which was raised through collections at Sainsbury's in Kidderminster, raffles and from corporate friends.
Headteacher Martin de Vine said: "We were absolutely delighted to receive the donation from the Rotary Club. It has enabled us to install a first class adventure playground for our pupils and our children really enjoy playing on it."
This year also saw the completion of a £3 million project to improve facilities at the school which included an extension of eight new classrooms, an internal refurbishment and remodelling of the existing Victorian building and the demolition of existing outdated classrooms.
