DARING staff at a Wyre Forest events and venues company have taken on a thrilling challenge in aid of charity.
Employees of Broome-based Top Banana jumped out of an aeroplane and raised sponsorship money for Cancer Research UK.
Richard Bridge, a director at the firm who completed the tandem skydive, said: “Cancer has touched so many of us at Top Banana and therefore we wanted to raise funds for this worthy cause.
“Seven of us including co-director and MD Nick Terry did the jump at Hinton Skydiving Centre.”
Mr Terry added: “There were some nervous faces as the door opened and the reality of what we were about to do hit home.
“But everyone landed with a smile on their face knowing we’ve already raised another £3000 through this jump.
“We’re really proud of the team and want to say a huge thank you to everyone who sponsored us.”
The company also raised more than £6,000 for Cancer Research UK last year.
