A WYRE Forest school is opening its doors to prospective pupils this week.
Astley CE Primary School is welcoming all members of the local community, of whatever age or stage in life to their Open Evening on Wednesday, October 15.
The evening, from 5pm to 7pm, offers visitors a chance to see the learning environment the school has to offer their pupils.
Since the start of last month, the school has welcomed 12 new children into the reception year, as well as six new pupils entering other year groups across the school.
Mr Stubbs, executive headteacher, said: “It has been good to see everyone settle in so quickly and become part of our friendly, rural community school.”
