A CHADDESLEY Corbett school choir recently took part in a live event to help raise money for the ITV Text Santa appeal.
Singers from Winterfold House School’s Chamber Choir were invited to Aston Villa Football Club where they entertained guests as they arrived for the launch of their fundraising curry event which features on the Text Santa 24 live broadcast.
Jerry Price, director of music at the school, said: “It was a fantastic opportunity to be involved in such a big event.
“The Chamber Choir is made up of children just nine to 13-years-old but they really excelled themselves and the audience were very impressed with their singing.”
