STUDENTS at a Kidderminster secondary school experienced a series of insightful presentations from a well-known Sikh storyteller.
King Charles I School pupils recently received a visit from renowned personality Roop Singh, who spoke to students about Sikh life and customs.
Stuart Arch, a teacher at the school, said: “Roop has a unique and energetic style with a charisma which captivated the pupils at King Charles I School.
“They were very entertained and gained a deep understanding of Sikh culture.”
Mr Singh is famous, not only as a visitor to local schools, but as a TV personality after winning £25,000 on Channel 4 game show Deal or No Deal.
Johnathan Reeves, year 8 pupil, said: “I thought he was good, really fascinating and I learnt a lot about Sikhism and reincarnation. I found it very interesting.”
