A MAN sustained injuries and was taken to hospital after he was reportedly stabbed at a service station in Kidderminster.
Police were called to the service station, in Franche Road, at around 6pm on Sunday (February 28) to reports of a wounding.
A spokesman for West Mercia Police said: "Between 5pm and 6pm, an altercation took place on the forecourt.
"A man in his fifties sustained injuries to his face, chest and hand which were believed to have been caused by a bladed weapon.
"His injuries required hospital treatment.
"The offender left the scene in an Audi A4.
"CCTV footage from the scene is currently being reviewed. This is thought to be an isolated incident and the offender and victim are believed to be known to each other.
"It is not thought to be any threat to the wider community."
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called on Sunday to reports of a stabbing.
"A senior paramedic officer in a rapid response vehicle and an ambulance crew attended.
"A man was taken to hospital."
Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information about the incident to call 101, quoting incident reference number 552S of February 28.
