THE NHS is encouraging Wyre Forest residents to think about their healthcare this May Day bank holiday.
With advice on common illnesses and the best medicines to treat them, visiting the pharmacist can save you time in the waiting room and help you feel better fast.
Dr Kiran Patel, medical director for NHS England in Worcestershire, said: "Your local pharmacy can help with more than you might think.
"Pharmacists are highly trained health professionals, who can offer expert, confidential advice and treatment for many minor health problems.
"Remember to order any medication you need in plenty of time so that you have a good supply during the bank holiday."
Many pharmacies will remain open over the bank holiday, when other services are often unavailable.
Pharmacy opening hours for Wyre Forest on May Day (May 2) are as follows:
Kidderminster Late Night Pharmacy, in Lower Mill Street, will be open between 5pm and 8pm.
The Co-operative Pharmacy, in Franche Road, will be open between 10am and 4pm.
