A BODY of a man has been pulled out of the canal near to the Weavers Wharf retail park, police have confirmed.
West Mercia Police were called to the Kidderminster retail park at around 11.20am this morning (Friday, June 10) to reports of a body being found in the water.
A man, who is yet to be identified, was confirmed dead at the scene.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service and West Midlands Ambulance Service also attended the scene.
A police spokesman said: "Formal identification has not yet taken place and the death is currently being treated as unexplained."
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman added: “On arrival, a man was found to be in the water.
“Unfortunately, it quickly became apparent that nothing could be done to save him and he was confirmed dead at the scene.”
