STOURPORT Swifts are mourning the death of popular chairman Chris Reynolds, writes Ian Morgan.
Reynolds died last night following his brave battle against cancer.
During his time at the club, which spanned 45 years, Reynolds had been a player, committee member and chairman.
A spokesman from Swifts said: “It is with great sadness that we report that Swifts chairman Chris Reynolds passed away last night after a brave battle against cancer.
“He has been our most loyal supporter and has made many friends during his time at the helm of the club.
“He will be missed by them all.
“Our thoughts are with his family at this time.”
Just heard the sad news that we have lost Stourport Swifts chairman Chris Reynolds - a great servant of Midlands non-league football. #RIP
