A PRANKSTER dressed as a ‘killer clown’ has apparently been seen lying in wait for unsuspecting victims at a Kidderminster restaurant.
This photo was reportedly taken at a drive through McDonald’s in Kidderminster and posted on social media today (Sunday, October 9), promoting concern amongst residents.
The terrifying craze started in America and involves people dressing up as clowns and usually armed with a knife, jumping out on unsuspecting victims.
Last week, The Shuttle’s sister paper The Worcester News reported how this ‘killer clown’ prank had arrived in Worcestershire with sightings reported in Gorse Hill, Worcester, and Droitwich.
Following the reports of this Kidderminster sighting, police in the town warned those taking part that they could face prison.
Intentionally causing distress or alarm is no laughing matter and could land you up here. #Dontbeaclown. pic.twitter.com/qWQG8N6ggO

This echoes calls made by other police forces, who have asked anyone who witnesses such incidents to report them.
