AN annual Christmas Fayre this week will raise money for a Kidderminster church and their charitable work.
The fayre at St George’s Church, in Radford Avenue, will take place on Saturday (November 26), between 1.30pm and 5pm, and all funds raised will go towards the church.
Katie Hudson, event organiser, said: “The success of our annual Christmas event keeps growing and we are very much looking forward to our third fayre.
“We would love everyone to come and enjoy the festivities with us. We have more than 35 stalls selling a variety of wonderful handmade crafts, such as jewellery, knitwear, cards and Christmas gifts, as well as delicious foods including cakes, preserves and pies, and other wonderful festive goodies.”
Visitors can also expect a raft of entertainment from Mary Ross Baulk and her Butterfly Puppet Theatre, local choirs including the Grace Notes Choir, and St George’s School and Heronswood School choirs, as well as Holy Trinity School recorder ensemble.
There will also be a tombola and a raffle, and refreshments will be provided by the church’s Friday morning coffee shop team. And, as with previous years, Father Christmas will also make an appearance.
Entry to the event is free and programmes are available for 50p.
