THREE Kidderminster Harriers fans have been slapped with banning orders by the club.
A statement on the Kidderminster Harriers website said: "Kidderminster Harriers can confirm that following investigations into recent conduct at matches, three individuals have been handed banning orders by the club.
"As a community-minded, family football club, Kidderminster Harriers will not tolerate antisocial behaviour at matches.
"Unfortunately, a very small number of ‘supporters’ have seen fit to attempt to tarnish the good reputation of the club, which is simply unacceptable.
"Three individuals have been handed bans from attending all matches at Aggborough Stadium as well as any events staged at the ground.
"We hope that this assures supporters wishing to enjoy their experience supporting their team that we will do whatever we can to ensure this is possible."
A spokesman refused to confirm the details of those handed the banning orders, but said it was in connection with their conduct over the festive period.
At Harriers Boxing Day derby a small nuber of supporters threw smoke bombs onto the pitch from the away terrace before the game and shortly after kick-off.
In a statement on their website, Harriers bosses have condemned in the "stongest terms the senseless antics" of the fans involved and that the club's work and projects, including Give It 100%, are "severely undermimed" by these types of scenes.
The statement said: "Both before the game and shortly after kick off, we had to watch as ‘smoke bombs’ were thrown on to the pitch from the away terrace.
"We witnessed similar actions by ‘supporters’ at our first league game of this season. After this, two supporters were handed season-long bans by the club and others signed Acceptable Behaviour Agreements.
"Firstly and most importantly – use of smoke bombs is extremely dangerous from a health point of view and is also a criminal offence.
"But in addition, it also runs the risk of serious action being taken against the club.
"This may take the form of a substantial fine or even a points deduction. At a time when we are making such great strides of progress, this is just madness."
